關於演講者 About the Speaker
現任數位發展部政務次長，主責 AI 治理、國際數位合作、資料治理及創新應用等業務，也兼任部發言人。近年持續關注 AI 治理的民主性、包容性與安全性，並致力推動臺灣成為「最善用 AI 的國家」。 侯次長擁有法律專業背景，自 2000 年起便深耕於法律、科技與公共政策的交會領域。在進入政府機關服務前，她積極參與開源社群，更是台灣人工智慧學校基金會（Taiwan AI Academy Foundation）創立的關鍵推手，並曾擔任該基金會秘書長。
Deputy Minister Isabel Hou currently serves as Deputy Minister of Digital Affairs and Spokesperson for the Ministry, overseeing AI governance, international digital cooperation, data governance, and innovative applications. In recent years, she has been dedicated to advancing AI governance grounded in democratic values, inclusivity, and safety, while working to make Taiwan “the country that makes the best use of AI.”
Deputy Minister Hou has a professional background in law and has worked at the intersection of law, technology, and public policy since 2000. Before entering government service, she was actively involved in the open-source community and played a key role in establishing the Taiwan AI Academy Foundation, where she later served as Secretary-General.
