AmCham Advance Learning Lab Seminar
Session 1: Same, same but different: Managing expectations and disappointments online
<This event has been fully booked. Please contact us if you wish to be on the waiting list.>
We normally talk face-to-face when discussing mission-critical tasks—such as contingency plans, business strategies, or business performance. However, given the current situation, most business leaders and people managers are turning to teleconferencing.
The problem is that teleconferencing is good for business-as-usual communication. Our situation right now, however, is hardly business as usual. The question we need to ask ourselves is: What kind of mindset, behavior, and skills do we need to inform, engage, and align our bosses, clients, and colleagues when using a digital medium like WebEx, Skype, or Zoom?
The Advanced Learning Lab at the American Chamber of Commerce has designed a three-part seminar—all conducted online—to share best practices for keeping our clients, bosses, and colleagues, informed, engaged, and aligned as we go through the biggest economic and social challenge of our lifetime. The speaker will role model the behavior and skills needed to inform, engage, and influence others in a multi-stakeholder, virtual environment.
Session 1: Same, same but different: Managing expectations and disappointments online (April 9th)
Session 2: The Must Haves: How to create deep engagement and interactions online (April 16th)
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Business leaders, HR heads, BU heads, and anyone else who needs to communicate mission-critical tasks with their regional and global bosses and colleagues using digital platforms.
