COP 28 Takeaways and Carbon Fee Formulation
AmCham Taiwan is excited to announce our distinguished guest, Deputy Minister of Environment, Wen-Chen SHIH, who will headline a dedicated Carbon Talk Series. This event focuses on extracting key insights from COP 28 and delving into the nuanced aspects of Carbon Fee Formulation.
Joining Deputy Minister Shih are eminent speakers including Mr. Lee Chun-Li (Deputy Director-General of the Bureau of Energy at MOEA), Ms. Lin-Yi Tsai (Director-General of Climate Change Administration at MOENV), and Mr. Hung-Jeng Tsai from NSYSU’s Center for Carbon Research and Solutions.
Our objective is to thoroughly examine Taiwan’s carbon pricing strategies, placing a specific emphasis on the policies that significantly impact the nation’s environmental landscape. Attendees can expect to gain a profound understanding of the current state and future trajectories of carbon pricing in Taiwan. AmCham Taiwan looks forward to fostering an insightful and collaborative dialogue among our members and esteemed speakers, ensuring a dynamic exchange of ideas and a deeper exploration of the issues at hand during this engaging event.
