AmCham Advanced Learning Lab Seminar
Trying to get a group of people to reach an agreement can be challenging during ordinary times. Now, it’s even more difficult amid the Covid-19 crisis as many people must meet remotely. When we’re not in the same room, it’s harder to read everybody’s non-verbal cues. It’s more difficult to know if people agree or disagree. Cultural biases can prevent people from engaging. Building trust and understanding is more challenging. All of these factors make having a better meeting process even more vital.
Learn how to overcome these challenges in this free webinar with Renzo Pellandini, founder and director of CELISO Tech, a team development consultancy based in Taipei. He will begin by sharing a few tips about how to do video conferencing better. But his main objective will be sharing a problem-solving and decision-making process called CONSENT, which works for both onsite and remote teams. The webinar will help participants better understand how a group can begin with multiple ideas and come to an agreement on a joint solution. They will understand why the best decisions come from collective problem-solving. And they will learn that although a facilitator might be needed at the beginning, the process can eventually become informal and led by the group.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
