TOPIC: Green Finance
*This event is closed to the media, and Chatham House Rule will apply for all attendees. The session will be conducted in English.
The United Kingdom is a global leader in green finance. With strong policies, innovative tools, and years of experience, the UK is setting the standard for how finance can support sustainability.
As Taiwan works toward its goal of net-zero emissions by 2050, this Executive Dialogue is a chance to learn from the UK’s success — especially how public and private sectors can work together to fund a greener future.
The UK ranks #1 in the Green Finance Development Index, and is known for advanced ESG rules, green bonds, and transparent financial reporting. We’re honored to welcome Marisa Drew, Chief Sustainability Officer of Standard Chartered (based in London), to share how the UK is leading this transformation — and how Taiwan can apply similar strategies to support its green goals.
