The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has spread in recent months to all corners of the world. The impact of this global pandemic poses numerous challenges to Taiwan’s various industries. As a key member of Taiwan’s business community, one of AmCham Taipei’s primary roles is to serve as a platform for information-sharing and exchange among our member companies. The Chamber is therefore pleased to invite Human Resources Committee Co-Chair Christine Chen of Winkler Partners and Heather Hsiao, Partner at Eiger, to co-host a panel discussion on April 7th. The discussion will touch on the new challenges faced by HR departments across industries, as well as practical considerations such as unpaid furloughs and other coping mechanisms.
