At work, are you getting more and more requests for information and meetings? Do you need to collaborate with people across different teams, functions, and countries more and more often? Are the number of challenges you face at work becoming more and more interpersonal? An increase in these trends usually indicates an increase in complexity.
The problem is that while complexity in most multinationals is increasing, most solutions to complex tasks and problems remain aspirational—not practical.
Using real-world cases, this seminar will, firstly, show you how to clearly identify complex tasks and problems. Then, you will learn how to frame and design practical solutions—and do it systematically. Finally, you will learn how to make sure that the solutions you design can satisfy the different regulatory, cultural, and resource constraints we all face at work.
Seminar Agenda
- What is a “complex problem?” How is it different from other problems at work?
- Real-world cases, how to classify them, and how to solve them.
- Hands-on facilitated practice with real case studies, and Q&A with the speaker.
