AmCham Advanced Learning Lab Workshop
Our companies collect more and more data on our product performance, our customer preferences, our competitors, and the trend in our markets. The expectation is that more data will lead to better insights.
The challenge is that to make the data meaningful, we need someone to interpret the data and then communicate it clearly and visually. How do most people currently handle this task? Most of the time, they take the data in Excel and apply a default chart—and instead of providing a meaningful headline, most people use generic topics such as “market trend” or “brand performance.”
What is the result? Most audiences do not know what the data means and what they should do about it.
In this seminar, you will learn how to identify the insight buried in the data, and then visually communicate it using message headings.
Seminar Outline
- Finding the insight in your data and communicating it with clear message headings
- Selecting the right visualization to communicate your message
- Designing your visualizations so they highlight and support your key message
- Writing annotations that draw attention to interesting aspects of your data
