This committee, true to its broad membership base encompassing energy users, producers, and other related industry players, will provide a balanced platform for the discussion and resolution of energy-related issues in Taiwan. The committee aims to help Taiwan preserve and further enhance its competitiveness in advancing both energy consuming and producing industries.
Agenda
- Provide a forum for industrial companies to voice their opinions regarding energy policies
- Articulate needs of its members regarding energy industry development and communicate to relevant government and non-government parties
- Act as bridge between member companies and governmental regulators to exchange views regarding energy matters
- Inform and facilitate Taiwan’s transition towards its green energy objectives through promotion of best-practice sharing between American and Taiwanese officials in energy related fields

Promote Specific Interests
Get involved in formulating annual position papers (Taiwan White Paper) used for communicating industry concerns to relevant government agencies.
