AmCham Taiwan is an autonomous not-for-profit organization registered with the Ministry of the Interior (Taiwan). It is governed by an elected Board of Governors and Board of Supervisors.

The Board of Governors selects one of its members to serve as Chairperson for a one-year term (two consecutive such terms are permitted). The Board also hires a President to manage the overall direction and conduct the day-to-day affairs of the Chamber.

Much of the work of the Chamber is also conducted through its office staff and industry committees.
