2026 & 2027 Hsieh Nien Fan Sponsored & Corporate Table Rules 

The 2026 Hsieh Nien Fan will be held on [Date], 2026. The following rules were approved in principle by the Officers of the Board on September 22, 2025. The rules are designed to ensure that the diverse and growing membership is represented at the Hsieh Nien Fan by limiting the number of seats and tables purchased by one member company. 

SPONSORED TABLE RULES:   

  • AmCham Member Companies are invited to sponsor a table at Hsieh Nien Fan. 
  • The 2025 sponsors will be assessed for 2026 sponsorship in December 2025. In accordance with the Engagement Point System, sponsors who accumulate zero points during the 2025 calendar year will be downgraded by one tier for their 2026 sponsorship status.

    Beginning in 2027, AmCham Taiwan will implement a Sponsorship Tier Baseline Point System, which will operate alongside the existing Engagement Point System. This new measure is designed to more accurately reflect member engagement and ensure that sponsorship visibility and benefits are aligned accordingly. Each sponsorship tier will require a minimum number of points, as outlined below:

    General: 3 points
    Bronze: 5 points
    Silver: 6 points
    Gold: 7 points
    Platinum: 8 points 

  • A grace period will apply, with the Sponsorship Tier Baseline Point System to be officially announced in September 2025. Member engagement activities conducted during the 2026 calendar year will be reviewed and applied to determine the 2027 Hsieh Nien Fan sponsorship tier. If a sponsor fails to meet the designated minimum point threshold for their current tier, they will be reclassified for the purposes of sponsorship recognition and related entitlements for the 2027 Hsieh Nien Fan. 
  • While every effort will be made to accommodate all sponsorship requests, qualified 2025 Hsieh Nien Fan sponsors will be given the right of first refusal to 2026 Hsieh Nien Fan. The same principle will apply to 2027 Hsieh Nien Fan, meaning 2026 Hsieh Nien Fan sponsors will be assessed and given the first right of refusal.  
  • Companies can only sponsor ONE table. Companies that sponsor a table are not permitted to purchase individual seats for additional employees. 
  • Prominent table placement is given to sponsors. 

 

CORPORATE TABLE RULES:  

  • AmCham Member Companies are invited to purchase a corporate table at Hsieh Nien Fan.   
  • Corporate tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Companies can reserve only ONE corporate table.   
  • Companies that purchase a corporate table are not permitted to purchase individual seats for additional employees.  The maximum number of individual seats one company can purchase is four.    
  • To cancel without penalty, cancellations must be made by [Date], 2026. Payment by wire transfer for corporate tables must reach us by [Date], 2026 unless otherwise agreed to in writing.  

 

ENGAGEMENT POINT SYSTEM  

  • For 2026 Hsieh Nien Fan, current sponsors with at least 1 point will remain eligible for their current tier sponsorship. Starting in 2027 Hsieh Nien Fan, each tier will require a minimum number of points, based on the Sponsorship Tier Baseline Point System. 
  • If there is an opportunity to move to a higher sponsorship tier, the Chamber will inform eligible Member Companies. If demand exceeds availability, eligibility will be determined using the points system explained above.  
  • The number of sponsorship packages available will partly be determined by venue limitations (floor plan, size, etc.). If demand exceeds availability, eligibility will be determined using the points system explained above.

GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL INVITATION RULES: 

  • AmCham member companies can nominate specific government officials to attend. Member companies should provide their nominated officials list to the AmCham contact person no later than [Date], 2026. AmCham will be responsible for coordinating invitations sent to officials.  
  • Member Companies SHOULD NOT invite officials without AmCham’s involvement. While every effort will be made to accommodate requests, no guarantee can be made.  
  • The above rules were approved in principle by the Officers of the Board on September 22, 2025. 
  • AmCham Taiwan reserves the right to interpret these rules at its sole discretion.
