Opening for Fall Publications Interns
The American Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan is seeking one to two fall semester student interns for its publications department. Interns would provide editorial assistance for AmCham’s Taiwan Business TOPICS monthly publication, TOPICS Online, and AmCham’s overall online presence. The program is ideal for undergraduate or graduate students in communications, journalism, or related fields.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Performing background research
· Drafting and copy-editing articles, blog posts and support the production of the Chamber’s 2025 Business Climate Survey
· Translating and reviewing shorter texts (English and Chinese)
· Assisting the communications lead with social media and digital marketing
Prospective candidates should meet most of the following criteria:
· Fluency in written and spoken English
· Strong Chinese-language ability (spoken and written) is preferred
· A demonstrated interest in Taiwan and Asia-Pacific business, economics, and current affairs
· International students must possess a valid student work permit and may not commit to more than 20 hours per week
Location: AmCham Taiwan, 129 Minsheng East Road Section 3, Taipei | 台北市民生東路三段129號 (Flexible working arrangements including WFH are possible)
Period: September 1 – December 31, 2024, approximately 16-20 hours per week (Dates are flexible)

**This is a volunteer program. No salary or remuneration is provided, but successful applicants will have the opportunity to develop critical skills and network with member companies. AmCham Taiwan will also provide successful applicants with documentation that they completed the program.
