AmCham Appoints Leo Seewald as the Interim President

AmCham Taipei announced that Leo Seewald has been appointed as the Interim President of American Chamber of Commerce in Taipei to succeed William Foreman who resigned for personal reasons.

C.W. Chin, Chairperson of AmCham Taipei, expressed appreciation for Mr. Foreman’s two years of service to the Chamber and stated that AmChamTaipei will begin its search for a suitable candidate for President.

Leo Seewald is well known to AmCham, having served as Chairperson of AmCham Taipei in 2019 and Standing Vice Chairperson in 2018. He has also helped lead the group’s delegation during its annual CEO Mission to Washington over the past two years. Mr. Seewald has been an active member of the organization’s Asset Management Committee and is familiar with the organization’s strategic direction as well as daily operations.

金奇偉會長感謝傅維廉先生過去兩年在商會的服務，並指示商會開始尋找適合的候選人接任執行長一職。

李豪先生在美國商會頗具盛名，去年出任商會會長一職，2018年則為常務副會長。他在過去兩年率領「執行長代表團」前往華府，且為資產管理委員會之活躍成員，對於商會策略方針以及日常運作皆十分熟稔。
